Account & Data Deletion

Overview

You can request deletion of your Wayna account and all associated data at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account, what data is removed, and how to initiate the process.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Profile information — your name, email address, and profile picture
  • Projects — all projects you have created
  • Voice notes — all audio recordings stored within your projects
  • Transcriptions — all text transcriptions generated from your voice notes
  • Merged audio files — any combined audio exports from your projects
  • App preferences and settings — all customizations and saved preferences

What We Cannot Delete

The following records are maintained by third parties and cannot be deleted by us:

  • App Store purchase records — Apple and Google maintain their own transaction records for purchases made through their platforms
  • RevenueCat subscription records — anonymized subscription event logs may be retained by RevenueCat

To manage these records, contact Apple, Google, or RevenueCat directly through their respective support channels.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: From the App

  1. Open the Wayna app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 2: Via Email

Send an email to info@fayazk.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion.

Important Notes

  • Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before deleting your account to avoid continued billing.
  • This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Make sure to export any data you wish to keep before proceeding.
  • Signed-in sessions will be terminated. All active sessions will be immediately invalidated upon account deletion.

Processing Time

Account deletions initiated from the app are processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been permanently deleted.
